The early grenade launcher pouch with D rings.
Front & rear views. Note WaA142 at right. There is no maker code on this pouch.

Inside view. Just the same as the other pouches. A comparison with the smooth construction type pouch at right. The flap is very similar in both in weight of leather, stitching and closing strap. The closeing strap is smooth on the bottom like equipment straps..
Comparison view with the stitched front pouch. Note stitching on early pouch goes all the way up unlike the later pattern. The cover of the later stitched pouch is somewhat heavier leather.
