The tripod, Gestell 40
Gestell 40 A much simpler head mechanism. It can only be tilted "fore & aft" using the large knob.
The small know locks the rotating top in position. The lever at left tightens the tilt adjustment. Maker "eaf" "Mechanoptik-Gesellschaft fuer Praezisionstechnik" in Babelsberg.
